And just like that spring is here. I’m shocked and joyful that February was relatively painless weather wise. I long for summer days. I’m ready for patios, bare legs, long nights, and the breathtaking beauty that can only be Minnesota in fairer months.
I am so happy. It has been a hard-earned happy. I need to share more about the difference between 2015 and 2016. I have dropped bits and pieces of it here, but haven’t been able to gather my thoughts well enough to compile a blog post.
This portrait was taken after church. I usually feel really good after church because I’ve put effort into my ensemble 😉 this dress came from one of my favorite thrift stores in Minneapolis and I’ve naturally paired it with my gray Frye boots. Those are new-ish pillows behind me on that couch that I purchased for using during Petit Easter Sessions…
I’m gonna be real, I’ve yet to book one. I feel like running a business, especially a photography one, is akin to basically never knowing the outcome of your efforts. It is very bizarre and sometimes frustrating. This isn’t really getting me down. I know God has a hand in all of this. Being in His Will is as much a part of praising Him for the unexpected blessings {like more free time on a Saturday morning to eat brunch} as well as praising Him for the ones we asked for/expected.
I’m just trying to stay in my lane.
