I love maternity sessions. Jess and I have been dear friends for a few years now and when she asked if I could capture some maternity and birth photos for her I said “yes!” Shortly after capturing this I decided to attend doula courses for DONA. It has been an incredible journey thus far and Jess’ birth was the first towards my certification process. As I’ve been getting caught up on blogging, it has been so sweet to see these images again. Jess’ birth was amazing and I can’t wait to share more about that soon.
We captured these maternity photos at Minnehaha Falls park, a place that is near and dear to Michael and Jess. The sun set right towards the end of our time together and I felt overjoyed to snap this shot:
