It seems like printing photos + creating photo books are always on my to-do list, but rarely accomplished. I did end up with a few coupon codes and deals recently, though, so I went ahead and started working on some books. I am always so happy when I do this and want to get into a better routine of printing images and getting things off my computer. I feel like I am always pushing my clients to do the same and want to practice more of what I preach.
These books are simple hardcover, 8×8, dust jacket, lay-flat page style from Shutterfly. I know there are higher end companies out there, and I use professional labs for clients, but I’ve always been happy with Shutterfly’s books. The prices + deals made it affordable enough to order more than one book a year.
The first book I created is an album from my wonderful baby shower. I love that Shutterfly now has an add on feature of a memorabilia envelope. I placed the cute advice cards people wrote for me in there. I plan on keeping this book right in baby girl’s nursery 🙂
The second book is full of images from our gender reveal party. Both books now live on my desk for now and I adore looking through them. Next in line is a book from our trip to the Black Hills + Seth’s 100 mile race and then my trip to Italy from September 2017.
I’d love to see you over on Instagram, follow along with my daily photos here:
