{Catching up on the blog a bit while Priscilla takes a snooze, or she’s going to bed for the night— who knows 😉 }
Earlier this fall we took a quick, weekend trip down to Worthington.
We managed to pack it full of fall activities and “firsts” for a present, albeit mostly sleeping two-month-old Priscilla Anne!
Pumpkin patch and carving, apple orchard, and visiting with Seth’s extended family.
As a city girl, I was impressed with the quality of pumpkins in Worthington. Nothing was picked over and there were so many great ones to choose from. I hope we make this a tradition because I can’t go back to sad, moldy pumpkins sold in a parking lot anymore.
The patch soil was so rich and dark, our chucks were caked in it.
Priscilla’s little skeleton outfit was a hit. I love having her wear one-pieces, they’re so cozy— and the built in feet on this one, just cute! Thankfully I had an orange headband to complete the ensemble.
This new tradition feels magical to me. I have always counted autumn as my favorite season, and having Priscilla to experience it with feels just wonderful. Something tells me that next year will be quite a bit more lively with a barely one-year-old.
