Priscilla’s first Halloween was memorable, more so for Seth and I as parents, I’m sure, but still— so fun.
I ended up dressing her in two costumes, not intentionally, but that’s what happens with a baby witch headband jumps into your Target shopping basket 😉 and you JUST so happen to own a baby LBD {little black dress}.
So, during the day she was… Priscilla, the infant witch:
We were a hit at our errands 🙂 I’m just wishing I would have found a black witches hat for myself. Next year. I’m learning that not everything needs to be perfectly twee. I’m no Instagram influencer, just a Minneapolis mom having a blast with her baby. Simple is good.
For nighttime we all {Seth included} dressed up as skeletons. I’m often grateful for Amazon Prime, finding an expensive but specific costume made easy with just one click.
Living in a condo means not getting many trick-or-treaters. Therefor, I knew not to go overboard on candy. I ended up picking these fun sized bars up… slim pickings the morning of Halloween. They’re actually delicious, I don’t know why they were the only candies left.
For our “dinner,” Seth and I crafted a delicious cheese and charcuterie platter. I can always count on Seth to go all in for Halloween— it’s something I love about him. And this cocktail he made for me? Bewitching 😉
A great Halloween and another special “first” for our little, baby girl. I can’t wait to see what future Halloweens hold for her. Being a mom is truly so much fun.
