She loves | The word “dog” seems to crack her up. It’s delightful and precious. Wrapping paper thrills her, after unwrapping gifts at Grandpa and Grandma’s over Christmas she squealed with delight. We’ve spent some time getting her nursery set up and she seems to enjoy it— we read books in there and she has taken to napping {and sleeping about half the night!} in her crib.
She detests | Being put down in her crib before she’s ready, it’s the saddest little cry!
What’s new | This has been a huge month development wise for our girl. She is very much aware of the world around her, loving to look out windows and follows people and objects of interest with a curious gaze. After two months of hating baths we’ve turned a corner, she likes them now, kicking with glee and delight. Priscilla is sitting up with some assistance and does well in her clip on highchair and exersaucer. We’ve hit a little sleep regression, but previous to that she was waking only once, sometimes sleeping until 5:30 or 6am. Amazing! We started feeding her recently, so far she seems to love peas, pizza sauce, whipped cream, and oranges. As a result, she’s nearly grown out of three month size clothing and is wearing some six month size pieces.
She is our delightful, happy girl. Each day with her is truly a gift.
