Nine months old already! She’s been out as long as she was in, and that’s wild to think about. She is getting closer to one, and I’ve started planning her first birthday party.
With nicer weather we’ve been getting out every single day, and P is already a big fan of the park, stroller rides, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and I’m pretty sure will adore the pool once that opens at the end of the month, too.
We finished up MOPs this month for the year and also signed up to attend BSF {Bible Study Fellowship} for next year. P will get to be in a little room with other friends while I do a study. This will be a huge step for us 😉
At nine months old she’s just a delight:
She loves | Being on the go! In the stroller, car, or my arms— she is happy to tag along to any new adventure. She is incredible observational and seems to take in things in big gulps and stares. I love watching the wheels turns in her head. She recently fell in love with these little shaker balls and loves playing “catch” with Astro and Seth.
She detests | Those painful teeth coming in and going through a developmental leap! We’ve been up a bit more in the night, but are grateful for Tylenol and Motrin. Priscilla has three teeth now including a top one, and the second top one is working its way in now. Seth calls them her “Bugs Bunny teeth.”
What’s new | She can sit unassisted now without a boppy or pillow around her and is getting close to crawling, I think. She loves playing with {and babbling at} her toys. She’s begun to string sounds together and loves saying “da-da” and “ba-ba!”
We’re heading out on her second airplane trip at the end of this month to New York City with my mom. I’m a little nervous, but I know it will be an adventure. One of the AirBnbs we are staying in already has a crib, baby gate, AND highchair. I can’t wait to explore Brooklyn with this cutie pie and my mom:
This weekend, for mother’s day, we’ll be visiting Seth’s mom and dad in Worthington. We are excited to celebrate the day with Grandma C.
Yesterday I put away all of P’s six month clothes and got out her 9-12 month stuff. It’s so fun to unpack everything including all the generous hand-me-downs. This new bubble was perfect for her photos:
Every single day I marvel at and am struck by the great blessing it is to mother this girl. I cannot wait to enjoy summer with her!
I’d love to see you over on Instagram, follow along with my daily photos here:
