I wish I could freeze this age. I love everything about it. It feels like each day she’s learning something new, and becoming more and more of a toddler.
Cilla has mastered signing: more, all-done, and milk.
She also waves hello and good-bye liberally and says “da-da,” “ah-ah” (for Astro), and sometimes, “mama.”
Priscilla can pull herself up to a stand and has taken some scooting steps alongside the couch or trunk in our small living room. Seth taught her how to climb up and down off the trunk and chest.
She’s doing well in nursery at BSF, MOPs and handling parent separation at ECFE like a champ.
One of the cutest things she’s done lately is develop an affinity for stuffed animals. She now sleeps some of the time with a lovely, and is really partial to a little owl my mom gave her.
Our neighbor’s had a beach themed party for their son and gifted us a few beach balls. Astro destroyed all but one and Cilla loves playing with that as well.
She figured out her xylophone and loves banging on it. I made her a little shaker out of a small, Glad container and popcorn kernals and she loves making noise with that, too.
She is fun, silly, happy, and curious.
We love this little girl!
