On a sunny, but chilly afternoon we walked into our ultrasound appointment full of excitement, nerves, and overall joy. I had debated about doing a 20-week scan, but ultimately decided on it. We found out gender last time, and I knew I couldn’t wait. I so respect and admire those who do, but I am terribly inpatient.
Seth tried to distract our wiggly and wild toddler girl while I cranked my neck as far as I could to see that image. And there our baby was. I noticed immediately what we were having and so did Seth, but we waited for the tech to confirm.
A boy. We’re having a son!
A smile spread across both of our faces. I could tell that Seth was SO excited.
One of each. We feel so lucky.
There are many times when I feel like I am undeserving of God’s goodness in my life. This is truly one of those moments.
I knew I wanted my dear friend Kimi of Oh Hello! Photo to do our shoot. She captured our gender reveal party for Priscilla and her first birthday party. She is so talented. Kimi and her husband Kyle came out on a freezing Saturday afternoon to shoot both video and photos for us. They were so generous with their time and talent.
