It seems hard to believe, but Langston is ONE! I haven’t been up to date on blogging about the last few months of his first year, but that’s okay. We’ve spent the spring and the beginning of the summer just soaking up the joy that this baby boy embodies.
This was the first real party we’ve had since the pandemic, and it felt so nice to celebrate with a few friends and our parents. Langston had such a good time playing with his baby friends, eating his cake, and pushing around his birthday present– a little gray cart.
We chose a beignet theme for him since he is such a chunk. At twelve months old LJ is 25 pounds, following his curve beautifully after weighing in at 9.5 pounds at birth, haha! I was thrilled to find that our local bakery here in our small town makes beignets so we had a treat filled event with those plus my mom’s amazing coconut cake.
