I truly get so much joy out of preparing, dreaming, and planning over celebrations. I begin planning parties sometimes six months in advance. I love to pick a theme and go from there. We used to host very large parties at our home shortly after we moved here, and they honestly overwhelmed me. Since, I’ve learned to still enjoy gatherings by making them a little more manageable. Lately Langston has been very into trains so I went with a neutral-ish train theme, heavily drawing on inspiration from Pinterest.
We had a lovely celebration, and LJ truly enjoyed his afternoon fun with family and dear friends. The first two years of his life have truly flown by, and I am finding myself wanting to be more and more present with this darling, sweet little boy.
